The World's Greatest Female Architect

I didn't learn about this mind-blowing and bold female architect until her death in 2016, which was shocking to me at the time, because I take care to learn about diverse design minds in different fields, especially women. But ever since I saw Zaha Hadid's work for the first time, I've been digging, and searching to learn more about her aesthetic, process, and thoughts as a boundary busting creative mind. Dame Hadid claimed the Suprematism movement as a major influence in her work, a movement close to Russian Constructivism, which was a powerful influence on me as a young designer, and still heavily influences the entire field of graphic design. Dame Hadid's architecture is transformational, beautiful, unexpected, and delightful, and as a native of the middle east, a region of the world not often praised for the role of women in society, a mind-boggling inspiration. To date, there are none of Hadid's buildings in the US, so, I guess I'll need to travel to Europe or the Middle East to see one of her buildings in person, but I'm looking forward to the trip.
